Our Story
They helped develop Ayaka
Kassu, Kiira, Robbe and Aino have helped develop Ayaka, a new Finnish multivitamin for kids. They've given feedback on the product, planned our marketing with us and decorated their own jars. Kassu and Kiira also took part in the taste tests. On Sunday 1 November, the four of them will pack the first 200 starter packs in a live stream on Robbe's YouTube channel.
It started at a supermarket shelf
We were standing in a store in front of the children's vitamins, and lots of the vitamins looked like candy. We get why: a child happily takes a vitamin that looks like candy. We wanted to make a vitamin that a child takes because it's their own thing. That's why Ayaka comes with a reusable jar and stickers. Every child gets their own jar to decorate. The jar becomes theirs, and the vitamin is no longer something a parent hands over.
For the vitamin itself, we started with nutrition. One chewable tablet holds 12 vitamins and minerals. Strawberry won the taste tests, in which 30 Finnish children took part. Ayaka is made in Finland and has been granted the Key Flag symbol (Avainlippu).
The name Ayaka is Japanese: aya means color or brilliance, and ka means flower. A colorful flower is something living that needs care every day.
Behind Ayaka are the three of us: Janne, Joonas and Markus.
