Product & ingredients

One tablet contains 12 vitamins and minerals: vitamins A, C and D3, vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6 and B12, folate, biotin, zinc and iodine. See the full ingredients on the product page.

Ayaka is sugar-free, lactose-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, yeast-free and soy-free. The carrier for vitamin A is of animal origin, so Ayaka isn't suitable for vegetarian or vegan diets. If your child has a food allergy, check the ingredient list and, if needed, ask a doctor whether the product suits them.

The sweetener is sucralose, and the bulking agent is xylitol, which adds a little sweetness of its own. There's no sugar at all.

Ayaka is strawberry flavored. Strawberry was the favorite in our taste tests with 30 Finnish children.

Why a chewable tablet?

A chewable tablet can hold a broad formula without sugar. It's chewed, so it doesn't have to be swallowed whole. The dose is one tablet a day.

Your child gets their own reusable jar and stickers and decorates the jar themselves, so the vitamin becomes their thing. One chewable tablet holds 12 vitamins and minerals, with no sugar. A refill arrives at home every 30 days, so the vitamins don't run out.

That the vitamin routine is your child's own thing, a responsibility that's the right size for them. Your child decorates the jar and takes the tablet themselves. A small thing that happens every day.

Does my child need this?

A child who eats a varied diet gets most nutrients from food, and that's how it should be. Few kids eat that well every single week, though. Picky phases and ready-meal weeks happen in most families. A multivitamin keeps the basics covered in those weeks too. It adds to the diet. It doesn't replace it.

In Finland, children aged 2 to 17 are advised to take a vitamin D supplement of 7.5 µg a day, all year round. Ayaka has 5 µg of vitamin D3 per tablet, so Ayaka alone doesn't cover the recommendation. Ask your child health clinic or doctor whether your child also needs a separate vitamin D supplement.

If your child has a long-term condition or takes regular medication, ask a doctor first. A food supplement isn't a medicine. It adds to an ordinary diet.

Usage & dosage

Anyone aged 3 and up. The dose is one chewable tablet a day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

At breakfast. For most families it's the easiest moment. Once the tablet belongs to the morning the way brushing teeth does, the routine keeps itself going.

No problem. Carry on as usual the next day, and don't take a double dose.

Of Ayaka's vitamins, A and D are fat-soluble. They're stored in the body and don't leave it as easily as water-soluble vitamins. If your child also gets vitamin A or D from another product, add the amounts together and make sure the total doesn't go over the maximum. Ayaka's tablet has 200 µg RE of vitamin A and 5 µg of vitamin D3.

Quality & manufacturing

Ayaka is made in Finland and carries the Key Flag symbol (Avainlippu). Production is certified to the FSSC 22000 food safety standard.

The recipe was developed together with Finnish food supplement experts.

Yes. When research brings new information or we find a better nutrient form, we update the formula.

Keep the unopened pack at room temperature, between 15 and 25 °C, in its original packaging, tightly closed and out of reach of young children.

Subscription, packaging & delivery

A supplement is taken every day, so we made regularity easy. A refill arrives at home every 30 days, and there's nothing to remember to buy. The vitamins don't run out, and your child's routine carries on without a break.

The reusable jar is glass and the lid is plastic. The screw lid is child-resistant. The jar stays with your child: the first delivery brings it, and every delivery after that refills it. Decorated with stickers, it's your child's own. Keep the jar in sight near the breakfast table, but out of reach of young children.

The first package brings the reusable jar, which stays with your child. After that, the tablets come in a refill pack, and you pour them into the jar. Recycle the empty refill container with plastic packaging and the cardboard with cardboard packaging. The reusable jar stays in use.

No. There's no fixed term and no cancellation fee. You can reschedule a delivery or cancel your subscription in your account anytime before the next charge.

Yes. You make the changes yourself in your account, with no need to contact customer service.

Refills come every 30 days as a letter, straight through your letterbox, without tracking. The first package, the starter pack, is the exception: it has the reusable jar and stickers and doesn't fit through the letterbox, so it comes as a tracked parcel. We pack orders on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. For now, we only deliver within Finland.

Cancellation & returns

You can cancel your subscription in your account anytime. If you cancel before your next billing date, you won't be charged again.

Unopened products in sellable condition have a 14-day right of withdrawal, starting from when you receive them. Opened packs can't be returned, for hygiene reasons. Returns carry the direct cost of the return, currently €4.83.

To withdraw, email info@ayaka.fi or use the model withdrawal form. Canceling your subscription in your account doesn't withdraw a purchase you've already made. Instructions and the model form are on the Right of withdrawal and returns page.

Ayaka is strawberry flavored, and we tested the taste with children before locking the recipe. It sometimes helps when the tablet belongs to the morning the way brushing teeth does, and your child takes it from their own jar. If your child still doesn't like it, you can cancel your subscription in your account before the next charge.
